GARTEUR HC AG-16 RPC

2005-2008

GARTEUR is a European organization that promotes aerospace research. In HC AG-16, a selected group of partners from the European helicopter industry, Research Establishment and University works on the investigation of rotorcraft-pilot coupling both from a flight mechanics and aeroelasticity point of view.

Politecnico di Milano is involved in aeroelasticity and bio-mechanical aspects of the rotorcraft pilot interactions by means of numerical and experimental activities. XSens' MTx sensors are used to measure the motion of the pilot's limbs when subjected to cockpit motion.
