MBDyn has been developed to serve as an analysis tool for rotorcraft research. It has been used in the past, and is currently used, in a number of research projects, partly funded by the "Dipartimento di Ingegneria Aerospaziale" of the University "Politecnico di Milano" and partly funded by the industry and the national and European Institutions. Research performed by independent institutions, where MBDyn plays an important role, is also listed.
